Join the National University of Singapore (NUS) as a Specialist Associate (DXA Imaging) and play a pivotal role in supporting worldâclass research and education in health sciences. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our stateâofâtheâart Dualâenergy Xâray Absorptiometry (DXA) equipment, ensuring precise bone density assessments for clinical and research projects.
You will collaborate closely with faculty, students, and external partners to deliver highâquality imaging services, contribute to data analysis, and uphold the highest standards of safety and compliance. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform DXA scans and acquire accurate bone density measurements for research and clinical studies.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot DXA equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Process, analyze, and archive imaging data using specialized software.
- Train and supervise students, researchers, and other staff on proper DXA operation.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures, results, and equipment maintenance logs.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and data protection guidelines.
- Support research projects by providing technical expertise and contributing to data interpretation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Radiography, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Imaging, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience operating DXA or similar Xâray imaging systems.
- Solid understanding of bone density analysis and reporting standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce reliable, highâquality data.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certification in radiography or relevant professional licensure is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastâpaced academic setting.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and basic IT skills.
