Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Industrial Engineer to lead the design and deployment of industrial engineering systems for a new manufacturing facility in Perai, Penang. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, analyze production workflows, and implement bestâpractice methodologies to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across the plant.
Tanggung Jawab
- Establish and deploy industrial engineering standards and procedures for the new factory setup.
- Conduct timeâstudy analyses, workflow mapping, and capacity planning to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Lead Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuousâimprovement projects to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Design and optimize plant layout, material flow, and workstation configurations for maximum operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain) to ensure seamless integration of processes.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor production performance.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers and production staff on industrial engineering best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations while maintaining costâeffective operations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven track record in implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuousâimprovement methodologies (Green/Black Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, statistical tools, and simulation software.
- Experience with AutoCAD, ERP systems, and production planning software.
- Excellent problemâsolving abilities and a handsâon approach to process optimization.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, capable of influencing crossâfunctional teams.
- Willingness to work onâsite in Perai, Penang, and adapt to a fastâpaced manufacturing setting.
