Renesas is expanding its regional footprint in Penang and is actively seeking a Sr Procurement Specialist to lead our backend semiconductor manufacturing operations. In this critical role, you will drive strategic sourcing initiatives and manage complex supply chain challenges to ensure our production lines operate at peak efficiency. You will have the autonomy to own end-to-end procurement processes, from identifying high-potential suppliers to negotiating favorable contracts that align with our global cost-reduction goals.
As a key member of the Malaysia Regional Procurement team, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders in engineering and production. Your expertise will be vital in mitigating supply chain risks and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage end-to-end procurement cycles for backend semiconductor manufacturing materials and services.
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to drive cost savings and improve supply chain resilience.
- Manage a portfolio of key suppliers, conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with vendors to secure competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Analyze market trends and supplier data to forecast demand and identify new sourcing opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to define technical specifications and ensure timely delivery of critical components.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and local regulations.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in procurement, supply chain, or logistics within the manufacturing or semiconductor industry.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and procurement software tools.
- Proven track record of successful vendor negotiation and contract management.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
