As a Sr Staff Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be integral to ensuring the highest quality standards for our microcontrollers and system-on-chip (SoC) products. We are looking for a strategic thinker and technical expert to drive our quality initiatives across four Product Groups and various corporate functions.
In this pivotal role, you will define testing strategies, lead automation initiatives, and mentor junior engineers. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases for complex embedded software and hardware systems.
- Drive the automation of regression and functional testing using industry-standard tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Java-based frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Managers, Firmware Engineers, and Hardware Designers to identify requirements and resolve defects.
- Perform root cause analysis for critical bugs and drive process improvements to enhance overall software quality and development lifecycle efficiency.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, establishing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
- Conduct performance, security, and compatibility testing to ensure system robustness and stability under various conditions.
- Manage the QA lifecycle from requirement analysis and test design through to release validation and post-deployment monitoring.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 3 years in a Staff or Lead role.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ with a deep understanding of software testing principles.
- Extensive experience with automated testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI), and version control systems (Git).
- Hands-on experience with embedded testing, microcontrollers, or ASIC design verification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
