Renesas is seeking a highly skilled Sr Staff Quality Assurance Engineer to join our elite team in Ipoh. In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of product excellence, driving continuous improvement and ensuring our advanced technological solutions meet the highest global standards.
As a Staff-level engineer, you will not only be responsible for complex QA processes but also act as a technical mentor for cross-functional teams. You will work across our diverse Product Groups, influencing design, manufacturing, and supply chain quality. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and oversee comprehensive QA strategies for semiconductor product lifecycles, from development to mass production.
- Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA) for complex quality issues and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Collaborate with cross-functional global engineering teams to ensure design-for-quality (DfQ) principles are embedded into new product introductions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing yields and reduce customer returns.
- Manage and execute complex quality audits and ensure strict adherence to ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other relevant regulatory standards.
- Mentor junior quality engineers and foster a culture of quality-first thinking across the site.
- Represent the quality department in technical customer meetings and audit responses.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Quality Engineering within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Expertise in statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies, and FMEA.
- Proven track record of managing supplier quality and internal manufacturing quality systems.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab, or Python).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of automotive quality requirements (e.g., AEC-Q100, IATF 16949) is highly desirable.
