As a Sr. Technical Purchaser, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing cycle, from identifying reliable vendors to finalizing contracts. - Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for technical materials, spare parts, and specialized services required for plant operations.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) to secure the best value and terms for the company.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and lead times to prevent production downtime and ensure optimal stock availability.
- Cost Reduction: Analyze market trends and internal usage data to recommend purchasing strategies that reduce costs without compromising quality or safety.
- Technical Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to interpret technical drawings and material specifications accurately.
- Procurement Administration: Process purchase orders, track shipments, and resolve any delivery discrepancies or quality issues efficiently.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management within the manufacturing or logistics sector.
- Technical Skills: Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and material specifications.
- Software Proficiency: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with a professional demeanor.
- Negotiation: Proven track record of successful contract negotiations and conflict resolution.
- License: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region as needed.
