Nanyang Technological University is looking for a highly skilled Stack Scaling Engineer (Vanadium Redox Flow Battery (VRFB)) to lead the transition of our cutting-edge energy storage technology from the laboratory to commercial viability. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for scaling up VRFB stacks, ensuring they meet high standards of performance, reliability, and manufacturability.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and scaling of VRFB stacks from bench-scale prototypes to commercial production units.
- Optimize stack geometry, flow distribution channels, and cell assembly techniques to maximize energy efficiency and power density.
- Conduct comprehensive performance testing, including cycling efficiency, pressure drop analysis, and thermal management validation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality assurance teams to improve process robustness and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues in stack operation to ensure long-term reliability and system stability.
- Document detailed technical specifications, test procedures, and process improvements for patent filing and internal knowledge sharing.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in flow battery technology and electrochemical engineering.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Science.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in battery system engineering, electrochemical cells, or energy storage manufacturing.
- Proven experience in stack assembly, cell balancing, or related battery technologies.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and technical writing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in a fast-paced research environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a diverse technical team.
