We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Electrical Engineer – Facilities Construction to join our dynamic team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for mission-critical facilities that power our semiconductor manufacturing operations. As a Staff Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, construction, and maintenance of complex electrical infrastructure. Your work ensures that our plants meet the highest standards of reliability, safety, and efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects that support Micron’s growth and technological advancements.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the electrical design and construction of new facilities and infrastructure upgrades, ensuring alignment with Micron’s technical standards.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of power distribution systems, lighting, and control systems in semiconductor environments.
- Conduct thorough site inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure all construction activities comply with local codes and safety regulations.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating with contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and extend the lifecycle of critical electrical assets.
- Investigate and resolve electrical faults and system failures with a focus on root cause analysis and long-term reliability.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in facilities construction, electrical engineering, or related industrial environments.
- Strong working knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices, particularly in the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Revit, or other engineering design software.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior engineers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain relevant work authorization in Singapore.
