Infineon Technologies is seeking a dedicated Staff Engineer for Equipment Engineering to join our state-of-the-art facility in Batam. In this critical role, you will be the technical lead responsible for optimizing equipment performance, ensuring maximum uptime, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across our production lines.
As a Staff Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues, implement preventative maintenance strategies, and mentor junior engineers. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency, ensuring that our equipment infrastructure supports our global leadership in power systems and IoT solutions.

Tanggung Jawab
- Lead complex equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize machine downtime.
- Develop and execute comprehensive preventative maintenance (PM) programs to improve equipment reliability and longevity.
- Oversee installation, qualification, and calibration of new production equipment.
- Drive continuous improvement projects (Kaizen/Six Sigma) to optimize equipment throughput and yield.
- Collaborate with global counterparts to align on best-in-class equipment engineering practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on technical processes and safety protocols.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and proactively address potential failures.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to ensure optimal technical support.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorās or Masterās degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in equipment engineering, preferably within a semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong expertise in PLC programming, robotics, and automated control systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical process control (SPC) software.
- Proven track record in project management and cross-functional team leadership.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational excellence.
- Strong command of English, both verbal and written, for global technical collaboration.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing technical requirements.
