STATS ChipPAC is a global leader in advanced semiconductor packaging and test services. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and analytical Staff Engineer, In-process Quality to join our manufacturing excellence team in the North Region.
In this pivotal role, you will be the guardian of our production standards. You will lead cross-functional efforts to identify, analyze, and mitigate quality risks within our complex manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will not only maintain compliance but also drive a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize throughput and yield. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain robust in-process quality control plans to ensure adherence to global standards.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes for manufacturing quality escapes.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to optimize process parameters and improve overall yield.
- Conduct regular quality audits and process validations to identify areas for operational enhancement.
- Monitor real-time quality metrics, providing actionable insights and reporting to senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement projects using Six Sigma and Lean methodologies to minimize waste and rework.
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff on quality best practices and SOP compliance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Materials Science).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Process Engineering within the semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar standards.
- Strong technical expertise in SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA, and DOE.
- Proven track record in driving yield improvement and process optimization initiatives.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
