At Micron Semiconductors, we are at the forefront of memory and storage innovation. Our NAND technology team in Singapore is seeking a talented and experienced Staff Engineer for Process Development focusing on wet processing.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing wet etch and clean processes critical to the fabrication of advanced NAND Flash memory. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements, enhance yield, and support technology roadmaps. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize wet etch and cleaning processes for NAND Flash technology nodes.
  • Define process specifications and manage process characterization, including uniformity, defectivity, and particle control.
  • Collaborate with integration, device, and quality teams to resolve process-related issues and meet performance targets.
  • Lead equipment evaluation, qualification, and process matching for wet processing tools.
  • Design and execute statistically designed experiments (DOE) to optimize process windows.
  • Support technology transfer from development to high-volume manufacturing.
  • Contribute to process control strategies (SPC, FDC) and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and propose innovative process solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. PhD is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor process engineering, with at least 3 years focused on wet processing.
  • Strong knowledge of wet etch and cleaning chemistry, surface preparation, and process integration.
  • Experience with NAND Flash process development is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in statistical data analysis software (JMP, MATLAB, Python) and DOE methodology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of process innovation and improvement.
