Staff Manufacturing Engineer

In this high-impact role, you will be a key driver of manufacturing excellence. You will work at the heart of our production environment to optimize complex manufacturing processes, spearhead new product introductions, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. As a Staff Engineer, you will provide technical leadership, mentor developing engineers, and collaborate seamlessly with global teams in R&D, Quality, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead critical process optimization initiatives to improve yield, reduce cycle time, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) transfers, ensuring smooth ramp-up from development to high-volume manufacturing.
• Perform deep dive root cause analysis and implement robust corrective actions for complex technical issues using 8D, DMAIC, or similar methodologies.
• Develop, validate, and sustain advanced manufacturing processes and equipment, maintaining adherence to quality standards (ISO, IATF).
• Collaborate with design teams to drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) improvements on new silicon products.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality, cost, delivery, and safety.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Drive cost reduction projects and support the scaling of automation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in semiconductor back-end manufacturing (assembly or test operations).
• In-depth knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), FMEA, and APQP methodologies.
• Proven track record of leading successful process improvement projects with measurable results (yield, cost, quality).
• Experience with advanced packaging technologies (BGA, QFN, WLCSP, SiP) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written; cross-cultural communication skills are essential for working in a global environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with a high degree of autonomy.
• Knowledge of automation, vision systems, or machine learning applications in manufacturing is a plus.
