Tanggung Jawab
- Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures and consultations.
- Assist ophthalmologists and surgeons during surgical operations, ensuring proper patient positioning and instrument preparation.
- Monitor patient vital signs and recovery status pre-operatively and post-operatively.
- Administer medications, eye drops, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, eye health maintenance, and medication adherence.
- Maintain a sterile and organized environment in accordance with hospital and infection control protocols.
- Document patient medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in electronic health records.
Kualifikasi
- Registered Nurse (RN) license with valid certification in Singapore.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an ophthalmology or surgical setting.
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and patient safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a professional demeanor.
