Tanggung Jawab
- Provide direct patient care during hemodialysis treatments, monitoring vital signs and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure
- Operate and maintain dialysis machines and equipment according to established protocols and safety standards
- Assess patient condition pre, during, and post-dialysis, identifying any complications and implementing appropriate interventions
- Administer medications as prescribed and manage vascular access sites with proper care and hygiene protocols
- Document patient progress, treatment details, and observations accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with nephrologists, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about renal disease management, dietary requirements, and lifestyle modifications
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Kualifikasi
- Must be a Registered Nurse with valid Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) registration
- Minimum diploma in nursing or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Prior experience in renal dialysis or nephrology nursing is preferred but fresh graduates with relevant clinical placement may be considered
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills with the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple patients and complex treatment schedules
- Proficiency in English with ability to communicate clearly in Mandarin or other local languages is an advantage
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to pursue specialized dialysis training
