Tanggung Jawab
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, and other electrophysiology studies.
- Prepare, monitor, and maintain sterile fields and specialized medical equipment within the cardiac lab.
- Administer medications and monitor patient vitals/hemodynamics throughout the procedure to ensure patient stability.
- Collaborate effectively with the interventional cardiology team to facilitate smooth and efficient procedural workflows.
- Educate patients and their families regarding pre-procedure expectations and post-procedure recovery instructions.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with hospital standards and safety protocols.
- Participate in emergency response duties and life support interventions during acute cardiac events.
Kualifikasi
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; experience in ICU, CCU, or high-dependency wards is highly preferred.
- Possession of a post-graduate diploma in Cardiac Nursing or relevant clinical certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS).
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of patient empathy.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Must be comfortable with shift work and potentially on-call rotations to support 24/7 cardiac emergency services.
