We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Staff Pallet Design to join our dynamic team at Pengiklan Anonim. In this critical role within our Design & Architecture division, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, drafting, and optimizing pallet designs that meet rigorous industry standards for safety, durability, and cost-efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial design or structural engineering, with a specific focus on packaging or logistics materials. You will utilize advanced CAD software to create precise blueprints, conduct load-bearing analyses, and select the optimal materials (wood, plastic, or composite) for various supply chain needs.
As a Pallet Design Staff member, your work directly impacts the efficiency of global and local logistics. You will collaborate closely with our manufacturing, quality assurance, and procurement teams to ensure that every design is not only structurally sound but also economically viable to produce. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD models and technical drawings for various types of pallets.
- Perform structural analysis and load-testing calculations to ensure designs meet safety and weight capacity requirements.
- Optimize pallet designs to minimize material waste and reduce overall manufacturing costs.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible for current manufacturing capabilities.
- Ensure all pallet designs comply with international shipping and handling standards (e.g., ISPM 15 for wood packaging).
- Research and evaluate new materials, including sustainable and recycled options, for future pallet designs.
- Revise and update existing design blueprints based on feedback from clients and quality control testing.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in product design, structural drafting, or packaging engineering.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, SketchUp, or Rhino.
- Strong understanding of material properties, specifically wood, plastics, and metal fasteners.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for structural integrity.
- Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present design concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
