Renesas is seeking a highly skilled Staff Product Engineer (Logistic) to join our high-performing sustaining team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will be the backbone of our post-mass production lifecycle, ensuring continuous product excellence, yield optimization, and seamless logistics support for our semiconductor portfolios.
As a Staff Product Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality, and manufacturing, to resolve complex technical challenges and maintain the highest standards of product reliability. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead post-mass production sustaining activities to ensure zero disruption in product continuity.
- Perform comprehensive failure analysis on hardware and logistical bottlenecks to identify root causes.
- Drive yield improvement initiatives and implement corrective actions through data-driven methodology.
- Collaborate with global manufacturing sites to resolve production and logistic escalations.
- Manage technical documentation and update specifications to reflect ongoing product enhancements.
- Interface with customers to provide technical support and ensure product compliance with regional standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in product development and logistical stability.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in product engineering, specifically in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in statistical data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab) and failure analysis equipment.
- Deep understanding of semiconductor testing, logistic flows, and mass production constraints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional technical discussions.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, DMAIC, or FMEA.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, multinational corporate environment.
