Renesas is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Quality Assurance Engineer to join our state-of-the-art facility in Bayan Lepas, Penang. As a global leader in semiconductor solutions, Renesas is committed to delivering innovative technology that powers the world. In this senior role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest levels of quality and reliability performance of our products, wherever they are designed, manufactured, and assembled. You will lead the definition and execution of comprehensive test plans, driving quality improvements from the concept phase through to mass production. Your expertise will be critical in maintaining our reputation for excellence in the automotive and IoT sectors. You will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to identify potential defects early, perform rigorous root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, establish best practices for quality assurance processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for semiconductor products.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and establish best practices for quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to define quality requirements early in the development cycle.
- Manage defect tracking and reporting using JIRA or similar tools.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949) and customer specifications.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Quality Assurance, specifically within the semiconductor or electronics manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test automation, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Experience with embedded systems testing and hardware verification is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
- Proven track record of leading quality initiatives and improving product yield rates.
