Google is seeking a highly skilled Staff Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Security AI team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of securing Alphabet’s complex AI workflows, building robust defenses against emerging threats, and architecting security solutions that protect global-scale infrastructure.
As a Staff-level engineer, you will act as a strategic advisor and technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional product and infrastructure teams to integrate security-by-design principles into our machine learning and AI pipelines. You will leverage your deep expertise in cloud security, threat modeling, and generative AI risks to identify vulnerabilities before they impact our global operations. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the design and implementation of security architectures for large-scale AI and machine learning workflows.
- Conduct deep-dive threat modeling and vulnerability assessments on AI infrastructure and production models.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate security controls and threat detection mechanisms.
- Develop and socialize security best practices for AI development, deployment, and data governance.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and drive architectural security reviews.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to emerging AI-specific threats (e.g., prompt injection, model poisoning, training data leakage).
- Influence cross-departmental stakeholders to align enterprise security goals with aggressive AI innovation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in security engineering, with a strong focus on cloud-native infrastructure.
- Proven track record in securing large-scale distributed systems and cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
- Deep technical understanding of AI/ML lifecycle, security risks, and common attack vectors.
- Expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, or C++).
- Experience with zero-trust architecture, identity and access management, and infrastructure as code (Terraform/Pulumi).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical direction across complex organizations.
