Tanggung Jawab
- Architect, design, and develop high-quality software systems for Emerson's next-generation automation platforms.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of talented software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Collaborate with product management and system architects to define technical requirements and roadmaps.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, design reviews, and performance analysis to ensure software robustness and scalability.
- Champion best practices in software development, including CI/CD, automated testing, and agile methodologies.
- Research and integrate emerging technologies to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Drive the resolution of critical technical issues and system-level bugs across multiple platforms.
- Contribute to the strategic technical direction of the engineering organization in Penang.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a Staff or Senior Staff engineering role.
- Deep expertise in modern C++, C, and Python. Experience with C# or Java is a plus.
- Strong background in embedded systems development, including RTOS, Linux, and ARM architectures.
- Proven experience architecting and deploying cloud-native solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent understanding of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience in the industrial automation, oil & gas, or process control industries is highly desirable.
