Coherent is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Test Maintenance Engineer to join our expanding team in Ipoh. As a key member of our engineering division, you will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless transfer, qualification, and operational excellence of our test equipment. You will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of hardware reliability, troubleshooting complex systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to support our next generation of high-tech product launches.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end transfer and qualification process of test equipment and hardware for new product introductions (NPI).
- Ensure high uptime and optimal performance of all test hardware through rigorous preventative maintenance programs.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to test setups, ensuring minimal disruption to production workflows.
- Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment maintenance and operational safety.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians on best practices for hardware debugging and system troubleshooting.
- Analyze test data to identify trends in equipment performance and implement corrective actions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with global design teams to ensure test requirements are effectively integrated into the manufacturing process.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) activities for critical equipment failures to prevent recurrence.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in test engineering or equipment maintenance within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor test systems, instrumentation, and automated test equipment (ATE).
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, or LabVIEW) used for test automation and data analysis.
- Demonstrated expertise in hardware debugging, signal analysis, and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to interpret technical schematics, datasheets, and complex engineering specifications.
- Familiarity with ISO quality standards and Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desirable.
