In this role, you will be responsible for producing precision welds on a variety of stainless steel projects. You will work from detailed technical drawings and collaborate closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure all output meets rigorous quality standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform precision TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on stainless steel materials according to project specifications and blueprints.
- Inspect and test welded surfaces and structures to ensure structural integrity, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Prepare, set up, and maintain welding equipment, including adjusting settings for different metal thicknesses and types.
- Collaborate with the fabrication team to interpret technical drawings and work orders efficiently.
- Identify and repair defects in welded products, performing rework as necessary to meet quality benchmarks.
- Adhere strictly to all occupational health and safety (K3) regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Assist in the assembly and installation of fabricated metal structures on-site or in the workshop.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven work experience as a Stainless Steel Welder or similar role in a manufacturing/fabrication setting.
- Expert-level proficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding on stainless steel; MIG experience is a strong plus.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical blueprints, welding symbols, and fabrication drawings.
- Holding a valid welding certification (e.g., BNSP, AWS, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of various stainless steel grades and their specific welding requirements.
- Excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in a non-airconditioned workshop environment.
- Willing to be permanently placed in Karawang, Jawa Barat.
