About the Role
Amphenol Communications Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Stamping Toolmaker to join our world-class engineering team in Senai, Johor. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on high-speed progressive stamping dies to ensure continuous production.
- Execute precision machining tasks including surface grinding, milling, drilling, and manual lathe operations to repair or modify tool components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot tooling issues on the production floor to minimize downtime and improve part quality.
- Fabricate new tool parts, inserts, and spare components based on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Conduct preventative maintenance (PM) schedules for all tooling assets to extend tool life and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with the production and quality teams to identify root causes of defects and implement permanent tooling solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of tool repairs, modifications, and spare parts inventory.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and ISO quality management systems within the toolroom environment.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Tool & Die Making, or a related technical field.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a toolroom environment, specifically focused on metal stamping.
- Proven expertise in operating conventional toolroom machinery (Grinding, Milling, Lathe).
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex 2D and 3D technical engineering drawings.
- Experience with high-speed progressive dies and understanding of tight-tolerance requirements.
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex tooling issues under production pressure.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to work in Senai, Johor, and support overtime requirements when necessary.
