Tanggung Jawab
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care plans for pre- and post-operative patients.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress, documenting all observations accurately in accordance with clinical standards.
- Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and wound care treatments as prescribed by surgeons.
- Assist doctors during ward rounds and clinical procedures, ensuring strict aseptic techniques.
- Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth patient transition from the operating theatre to the ward.
- Educate patients and their families on post-surgical recovery, medication management, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and well-organized ward environment to minimize infection risks.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Must be a State Registered Nurse (SRN) with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) from the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a surgical or acute care ward environment.
- Possess strong clinical skills, including wound dressing, IV cannulation, and patient monitoring.
- Ability to work on a shift rotation basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (knowledge of local dialects is an added advantage).
- Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
