Vertex Projects is expanding its operations in Ortigas, Metro Manila, and is currently seeking a dedicated Steel Detailer (Editor) to support our growing portfolio of Mining and Infrastructure projects based in Australia. As the global demand for high-quality engineering solutions intensifies, we are looking for detail-oriented professionals to play a critical role in the fabrication process.
As a Steel Detailer (Editor), you will be responsible for the rigorous review and correction of structural steel drawings. Your primary focus will be ensuring that all technical specifications, connection details, and material lists align perfectly with Australian engineering standards. You will collaborate closely with project engineers to identify errors, optimize designs for manufacturing, and produce high-fidelity 2D and 3D drawings using industry-standard software. This role is ideal for a technical expert who thrives on precision and wants to contribute to complex, large-scale engineering endeavors. Tanggung Jawab
- Review and edit structural steel drawings for accuracy, compliance, and completeness.
- Ensure all detailing work adheres to Australian structural steel standards (AS/NZS).
- Collaborate with engineers to interpret design changes and update fabrication drawings accordingly.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or Revit to generate precise connection details and material take-offs.
- Communicate technical discrepancies and design clarifications to the project team effectively.
- Manage drawing revisions, version control, and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
- Support the production of shop drawings that facilitate efficient on-site fabrication.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Technology.
- Proven experience as a Steel Detailer, Structural Draftsman, or CAD Editor (min 3 years).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or Revit.
- Strong understanding of steel detailing principles, fabrication processes, and welding symbols.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to fast-paced project schedules.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work on Australian-based projects and adapt to international workflows.
