Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for precision engineering and steel fabrication? We are currently seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our steel fabrication operations in Batu Pahat, Johor. In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind our production floor, ensuring that every project meets our high standards for structural integrity, safety, and efficiency.
As our Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for streamlining workflows, optimizing team performance, and maintaining rigorous quality control measures. We are looking for an individual who can bridge the gap between technical requirements and operational execution, ensuring that our fabrication projects are delivered on time and within budget. Tanggung Jawab
- Direct and monitor daily steel fabrication production activities to ensure operational efficiency and project deadlines are met.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to the production team, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.
- Oversee quality control processes, ensuring all fabricated steel components adhere to engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with procurement to manage raw material inventory and minimize production waste.
- Implement and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing principles on the production floor.
- Enforce strict workplace health and safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Prepare production reports and communicate status updates to management regarding output, quality metrics, and bottlenecks.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Lead in a metal/steel fabrication environment.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, structural steel blueprints, and fabrication processes.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measurement tools.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Ability to work shifts if required by production scheduling.
