Golden Prince Hotel & Suites is seeking a dedicated and reliable Steward to join our culinary support team in Cebu. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation are consistently met, providing a safe and efficient environment for our culinary staff.
The ideal candidate is a hardworking individual who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining back-of-house areas to top-tier hospitality standards. You will be responsible for dishwashing operations, equipment sanitation, and general kitchen upkeep, ensuring that our chefs have the tools they need to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Tanggung Jawab
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, including pots, pans, plates, and utensils, are cleaned and sanitized to hotel standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and overall kitchen area throughout the shift.
- Follow strict hygiene and safety protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure workplace safety.
- Properly store and organize cleaned kitchenware in designated storage areas.
- Assist in general kitchen cleaning tasks, including floors, surfaces, and waste disposal management.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to support smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as required.
Kualifikasi
- High School Diploma or equivalent vocational training in hospitality or culinary support.
- Proven experience working as a Steward, dishwasher, or in a similar kitchen utility role within a hotel or restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation regulations, and chemical handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lifting, including the ability to stand for long shifts.
- Reliable, punctual, and possessing a positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to support hotel operations.
