Are you passionate about hospitality and eager to be part of an exciting new culinary journey? Cafe Dasa in the heart of Ubud is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Steward to join our pre-opening team. As a key member of our back-of-house operations, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency that define our brand.

This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team from the ground up, gain valuable experience in a fast-paced professional kitchen environment, and contribute to the success of a premier Ubud dining destination. Tanggung Jawab

  • Ensure all kitchen equipment, dishes, cutlery, and glassware are cleaned to the highest sanitation standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment throughout service hours.
  • Properly operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment.
  • Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks when required.
  • Manage the storage and organization of kitchen tools, cleaning supplies, and kitchen inventory.
  • Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling protocols are followed at all times.
  • Promptly report any broken equipment or maintenance needs to the kitchen manager.
  • Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP standards) in all dishwashing and cleaning procedures.

Kualifikasi

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or in a similar dishwashing role is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of kitchen sanitation, food safety practices, and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends, public holidays, and rotating shifts.
  • A proactive attitude with a strong focus on teamwork and cooperation.
  • Basic proficiency in English is an advantage.
  • Must be based in or willing to relocate to Ubud, Bali.
