Indospec Asia is currently seeking a dedicated Storage Tank Inspector to join our growing team in Jakarta Raya. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive inspections on storage tanks and pressure vessels to ensure strict compliance with industry safety standards and regulatory requirements.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail. You will utilize Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods and visual inspection techniques to detect defects, corrosion, and structural anomalies in industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Welding Inspector (WI) certificate and possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the oil, gas, or petrochemical sectors. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections on various storage tanks and pressure vessels.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and documentation, including photographs and defect measurements.
- Ensure strict compliance with international standards such as API 650, API 653, and ASME.
- Identify potential corrosion, leaks, and structural weaknesses to recommend timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and improve inspection protocols and maintenance schedules.
- Monitor daily site activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and environmental protection guidelines.
- Verify the qualifications and workmanship of third-party contractors during tank maintenance.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- Valid Welding Inspector (WI) certificate is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Storage Tank Inspector in the oil and gas or industrial sector.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as ultrasonic thickness gauges and magnetic particle testing.
- Valid Indonesian ID card (KTP) and driving license.
- Physically fit for fieldwork and capable of working in various weather conditions.
