Indospec Asia is seeking a highly qualified Storage Tank Inspector to join our dynamic team in Jakarta Raya. This critical role requires a professional with minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in conducting comprehensive storage tank inspections. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with international safety standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the oil & gas sector. The ideal candidate will possess valid Welding Inspector (WI) certification and demonstrate expertise in bulk tank inspection methodologies. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform detailed visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) inspections of storage tanks
- Evaluate tank structural integrity, corrosion levels, and welding quality
- Prepare comprehensive inspection reports with actionable recommendations
- Ensure compliance with API, ASME, and local regulatory standards
- Collaborate with maintenance teams to implement corrective actions
- Monitor and document tank conditions using specialized inspection tools
- Train junior inspectors on inspection procedures and safety protocols
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience as Storage Tank Inspector
- Valid and current Welding Inspector (WI) certification
- Certification in Bulk Tank Inspection (API 653 or equivalent)
- Strong knowledge of tank inspection techniques, NDT methods, and safety standards
- Familiarity with oil & industry regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in inspection reporting software and documentation systems
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in challenging industrial environments
