Are you organized, reliable, and looking to play a critical role in a thriving manufacturing environment? Hong Seng Assembly is seeking a diligent and proactive Storekeeper to join our logistics and operations team in Gopeng, Perak.
In this role, you will be the backbone of our inventory management system. You will be responsible for overseeing the secure storage of fuel and operational supplies, tracking stock movements with precision, and ensuring that our production teams have exactly what they need, when they need it. We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining an orderly workspace, adheres strictly to safety protocols, and enjoys a fast-paced environment where efficiency is key to our operational success.
As a Storekeeper at Hong Seng Assembly, you won't just be managing stock—you will be an essential part of our supply chain, ensuring our deliveries and internal operations run smoothly and reliably every single day.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the daily reception, storage, and issuance of fuel and operational materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or digital tracking systems to prevent stockouts.
- Execute regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure 100% inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to manage timely deliveries.
- Ensure all storage areas comply with strict safety regulations and environmental handling protocols.
- Monitor stock levels and provide timely updates for procurement/replenishment needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free storehouse environment.
- Assist in loading/unloading processes and prepare goods for internal dispatch.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven work experience as a Storekeeper, Warehouse Assistant, or similar logistics role.
- Strong understanding of inventory control procedures and warehouse safety practices.
- Ability to perform manual labor and safely handle fuel and industrial materials.
- Basic computer literacy for stock tracking and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to commit to full-time working hours in the Gopeng area.
