In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of shaping the data ecosystem that powers Google's most advanced generative AI models.
As a Strategic Partnerships Development Manager, you will identify, negotiate, and manage high-value data partnerships across the APAC region. You will work closely with cross-functional product, legal, and engineering teams to acquire the high-quality datasets necessary to train and refine the Gemini model family. If you are an expert at building long-term relationships, navigating complex contractual landscapes, and driving innovation at the intersection of AI and business development, we want to hear from you.
Tanggung Jawab
- Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with data providers, publishers, and content aggregators to support AI model training.
- Lead complex contract negotiations, balancing business requirements with legal, privacy, and compliance frameworks.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering leads to define data acquisition strategies that align with Gemini's long-term technical roadmap.
- Manage the full lifecycle of partner relationships, ensuring high-quality data delivery and ongoing operational alignment.
- Perform regional market analysis to identify emerging data trends and competitive opportunities within the APAC AI landscape.
- Drive internal cross-functional alignment across Legal, Policy, Trust & Safety, and Engineering teams.
- Represent Google in external industry forums to advocate for robust and ethical AI data standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate strategy within the tech sector.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning fundamentals, and the data supply chain.
- Proven ability to negotiate complex, high-stakes commercial agreements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional leaders.
- Deep experience working within the APAC technology market.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
