In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our complex piping systems and industrial infrastructure projects.
As a Stress Engineer, you will be responsible for performing rigorous stress analysis to validate piping designs under various operating conditions. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop comprehensive piping specifications and engineering documents that meet global safety standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform detailed stress analysis on piping systems to ensure compliance with ASME B31.3 and other relevant codes.
- Develop and maintain piping specifications, data sheets, and material selection documents.
- Review and interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical equipment layouts.
- Conduct thermal expansion, weight, and pressure analysis using industry-standard simulation software.
- Coordinate with design and procurement teams to resolve engineering queries and technical bottlenecks.
- Prepare technical reports summarizing stress analysis results and recommending design modifications where necessary.
- Ensure all engineering deliverables meet quality assurance and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering.
- Licensed Engineer (PRC) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in stress analysis for power, oil & gas, or industrial plants.
- Proficiency in Caesar II or similar piping stress analysis software.
- Strong knowledge of international piping codes (ASME, API, ASTM).
- Ability to interpret complex engineering documentation and technical drawings.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on project accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional project collaboration.
