Tanggung Jawab
- Perform detailed structural design, analysis, and calculations for temporary works, including scaffolding systems, shoring, falsework, and formwork, ensuring full compliance with relevant local and international codes and standards (e.g., NSCP, AISC, BS EN).
- Conduct comprehensive load analyses, stability assessments, and structural integrity checks for all temporary structures under various loading conditions.
- Prepare and review high-quality engineering drawings, specifications, design reports, and technical documentation for project submission and approval.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, construction teams, and clients to provide expert technical support, address design queries, and resolve complex onsite structural challenges proactively.
- Execute accurate material take-offs and develop detailed bills of quantities to support cost estimation and procurement for temporary works packages.
- Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and erection plans submitted by contractors, ensuring strict adherence to design intent, safety regulations, and project specifications.
- Participate actively in site inspections, quality control checks, and safety audits to monitor the correct implementation and safe usage of temporary works installations.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, new materials, and regulatory updates in structural engineering and construction.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a strong specialization in Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Must possess a valid and current Professional Civil Engineer (P.C.E.) license issued by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in the Philippines.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive professional experience in structural design, with a significant focus on temporary works, scaffolding, shoring, or formwork.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, Risa-3D) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit Structure).
- Thorough understanding and practical application of local and international building codes, design standards, and safety regulations relevant to structural and temporary works.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting technical information clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, onsite project environment within the Clark Freeport Zone.
