Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive structural analysis and design for U.S. residential and light commercial buildings, including foundations, concrete, steel, wood, and masonry systems.
- Develop detailed structural calculations, reports, and technical memoranda in accordance with U.S. engineering standards.
- Prepare complete sets of construction documents, including structural drawings, specifications, and schedules, utilizing industry-standard software.
- Ensure all structural designs rigorously comply with relevant U.S. building codes and standards (e.g., International Building Code - IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC).
- Collaborate effectively with architects, MEP engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, and provide timely responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) during the construction administration phase.
- Utilize advanced structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, or equivalent.
- Participate in project meetings, provide technical guidance, and contribute innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering from an accredited university. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in structural design, with a proven track record on U.S. residential and/or light commercial projects.
- Demonstrable proficiency in applying U.S. building codes and standards, including the IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, and AISC specifications.
- Expertise in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, STAAD.Pro).
- Strong command of AutoCAD and/or Revit for structural drafting and 3D modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- A Professional Engineer (PE) license in the Philippines or active pursuit of U.S. PE licensure is a significant advantage.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
