We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Supervisor - Mobile Maintenance to join our dynamic team.
In this pivotal leadership role, you will take full ownership of the mobile maintenance function. You will be responsible for supervising the mechanical maintenance team to ensure the safety, reliability, and availability of a diverse fleet of heavy mobile equipment, including modern Caterpillar and Komatsu haul trucks, excavators, bulldozers, and graders.
Working closely with the Maintenance Superintendent and Planning team, you will plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities, manage resources effectively, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maximize fleet performance and minimize downtime. You will champion a safety-first culture, conducting field leadership visits and ensuring all team members adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong technical expertise in heavy diesel equipment, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics. You will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to mentor and develop your team to achieve their full potential.

Tanggung Jawab
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the mobile maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient execution of planned and corrective maintenance.
- Champion a strong safety culture by conducting field leadership visits, risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all SHEC policies and procedures.
- Plan and allocate resources, manpower, and critical spares to meet maintenance schedules and operational targets.
- Monitor mobile equipment performance and reliability, analyzing downtime data to identify trends and implement effective corrective actions.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of maintenance work to ensure adherence to OEM standards and best practices.
- Manage maintenance costs effectively, optimizing inventory levels and consumable usage to stay within budget.
- Coach, mentor, and develop heavy diesel mechanics and tradespeople, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with the Maintenance Planning team to refine weekly and shutdown maintenance strategies.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related trade qualification (e.g., Heavy Duty Mechanic, HD Fitter, Diesel Fitter).
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy mobile equipment maintenance within a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy diesel engines (Caterpillar, Komatsu), hydraulic systems, powertrains, and electrical/electronic diagnostics.
- Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in using Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid professional driver's license and willingness to work in a remote site location on a FIFO or residential roster.
