Join Cepheid as a Supplier Development & CM Transfer Engineer and play a pivotal role in expanding our manufacturing supply capacity while driving significant improvements in yield and overall product quality. In this critical position, you will be responsible for managing the entire supplier development lifecycle, from initial qualification to ongoing performance monitoring. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transfer of manufacturing processes to contract manufacturers while maintaining strict quality standards.
As a key member of our supply chain team, you will identify and develop strategic partnerships with suppliers, conduct comprehensive supplier audits, and implement robust supplier management systems. You will analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for optimization and implement corrective actions to enhance productivity and reduce costs. - Develop and implement supplier qualification processes to ensure manufacturing partners meet Cepheid's quality and performance standards
- Manage the transfer of manufacturing processes to contract manufacturers, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
- Conduct regular supplier audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify opportunities for yield improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize manufacturing processes and enhance product quality
- Develop and maintain robust supplier management systems to track performance metrics and compliance
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement process improvements
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supplier development and manufacturing transfer
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supplier development, manufacturing transfer, or quality engineering
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems and ISO standards
- Experience with statistical process control and data analysis tools
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams
- Prior experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry is highly desirable
