Jabil is looking for a dedicated Supplier Quality Engineer (Kulim) to lead our quality initiatives and ensure the integrity of our global supply chain. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between manufacturing and procurement, implementing robust inspection processes and managing a team of quality personnel.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end quality management of our suppliers, ensuring they meet Jabil’s stringent standards before products reach our customers. This involves conducting rigorous audits, analyzing non-conformance reports, and driving corrective actions to eliminate defects at the source. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead Supplier Quality Management (SQM) activities and define appropriate inspection processes for incoming materials.
- Oversee and mentor IQC (Incoming Quality Control) and SQE (Supplier Quality Engineering) personnel to ensure operational excellence.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments to evaluate quality systems and compliance.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and drive the 8D problem-solving methodology to resolve supplier issues.
- Review and approve PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions to ensure readiness for production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvements and reduce scrap and rework.
- Monitor key quality metrics and report performance to management stakeholders.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or related field.
- Proven experience (3-5+ years) in Supplier Quality Engineering or Manufacturing Quality roles.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 (automotive preferred).
- Excellent understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage supplier relationships.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (preferred for local communication in Kulim).
