Celestica is seeking a dedicated and strategic Supplier Quality Manager to join our growing team in Kulim, Kedah. As a global leader in electronics manufacturing services (EMS), we are committed to operational excellence and superior quality standards. In this pivotal role, you will support the generation of performance metrics for products and processes of moderate complexity, driving the team to achieve our Quality Goals.
You will be responsible for overseeing the supplier quality assurance program, ensuring that all incoming materials and components meet Celestica's rigorous specifications and industry standards. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and operations, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. By leveraging your expertise in quality management systems, you will help mitigate risks and ensure a seamless supply chain.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and execute Supplier Quality Management plans to ensure materials meet Celestica's quality standards.
- Lead root cause analysis and manage Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for incoming quality issues.
- Conduct regular supplier audits and capability assessments to ensure continuous improvement.
- Analyze quality data and KPIs to drive process improvements and defect reduction strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison between Celestica and suppliers to resolve quality escalations and technical challenges.
- Manage the Supplier Quality Management System (SQMS) and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
- Train supplier personnel on quality requirements and Celestica's manufacturing processes.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial) or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management or Manufacturing Quality within the electronics industry.
- Strong working knowledge of quality tools such as Six Sigma, SPC, APQP, and FMEA.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with external suppliers.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and quality management software (e.g., SAP, QMS tools).
- Ability to travel to supplier sites as required for audits and meetings.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
