Search Personnel is looking for a detail‑oriented Supply Chain Executive (Import/Export/Purchasing) to join a fast‑growing manufacturing and logistics team in Singapore’s West Region. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the end‑to‑end supply chain processes, with a focus on import/export documentation, purchasing, inventory management, and stock control.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and management of all import/export documentation in compliance with Singapore customs regulations and international trade standards.
- Sourcing, negotiating with suppliers, and managing purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Monitoring inventory levels, implementing stock‑control procedures, and coordinating warehouse operations to minimize excess and shortages.
- Analyzing supply chain metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending process improvements to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborating with sales, finance, and operations teams to align demand forecasts, production schedules, and logistics plans.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports using MS Office and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Liaising with freight forwarders, carriers, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth customs clearance and on‑time shipment.
The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field, a minimum of 3 years of hands‑on experience in import/export, purchasing, or inventory control, and be proficient in MS Office. Familiarity with ERP platforms and knowledge of Incoterms and customs procedures in Singapore is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential to thrive in a dynamic environment.
