Coherent is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Generalist to join our growing team in Perai, Penang. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods in and out of our facility. You will be responsible for coordinating shipping bookings, managing logistics schedules, and troubleshooting any operational issues that may impact delivery timelines.
A significant portion of this position involves liaising with customs authorities and other government agencies to ensure full compliance with shipping regulations and documentation standards. We are looking for a professional who can maintain accurate records, solve complex logistics problems efficiently, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet organizational targets.
Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee and manage inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure timely delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Coordinate shipping bookings with freight forwarders and carriers, ensuring optimal routes and costs.
- Resolve shipping and logistics-related issues and operational bottlenecks promptly.
- Liaise with customs and other government agencies to handle shipping permits, regulations, and documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipments, inventory movements, and logistics reports.
- Collaborate with internal departments to forecast supply needs and align production schedules.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a supply chain or logistics role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of customs procedures, shipping documentation, and government regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficient in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
