Join SAMEE's dynamic supply chain team as a Supply Chain Officer-Buyer and drive operational excellence in our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role requires you to orchestrate materials planning, procurement processes, and supplier coordination to ensure seamless production workflows, optimal inventory control, and on-time delivery commitments. You'll be instrumental in maintaining cost-effective sourcing strategies while building strong vendor relationships that align with our production schedules and quality standards. Located in Bayan Lepas, Penang, you'll collaborate cross-functionally with production, warehouse, and quality teams to implement lean supply chain principles and mitigate potential disruptions. Your expertise will directly impact our ability to meet market demands efficiently while maintaining competitive cost structures.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including RFQ issuance, vendor selection, and purchase order management
- Optimize inventory levels through accurate materials planning and demand forecasting
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
- Monitor supplier performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop and maintain robust supplier relationships aligned with production requirements
- Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and strategic sourcing options
- Collaborate with production planning to align procurement schedules with manufacturing timelines
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and compliance with company policies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or buyer role within manufacturing
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with proven track record
- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software
- Certification in CIPS or APICS is advantageous
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret supply chain data
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and inventory optimization techniques
- Strong communication skills with ability to work cross-functionally
