Are you an analytical supply chain professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? NCS Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Bayan Lepas, Penang. In this role, you will be the backbone of our supply planning operations, taking ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle management for New Product Introductions (NPI), production cutovers, and product obsolescence.
You will play a critical role in balancing demand and supply, ensuring that our inventory levels are optimized to meet customer requirements while simultaneously identifying and mitigating supply chain risks. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end supply planning process for NPI, ensuring seamless transitions from development to mass production.
- Develop and execute comprehensive inventory strategies to optimize stock levels and minimize obsolescence costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Sales, and Production to align supply schedules with business forecasts.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to ensure 100% supply readiness.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy and cycle times.
- Manage the phase-in/phase-out processes for product lines, coordinating with stakeholders to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
- Maintain and update ERP/MRP systems to reflect real-time supply chain adjustments and scheduling requirements.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience in supply chain planning, materials management, or production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Deep understanding of the NPI lifecycle and inventory management best practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Certification in APICS (CPIM/CSCP) is highly preferred.
