Join Zhongding Malaysia's dynamic supply chain team as a Purchasing Specialist, where you'll drive operational excellence through strategic procurement and inventory management. This critical role requires you to optimize purchasing processes, negotiate favorable supplier contracts, and ensure seamless material flow to support our manufacturing operations. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to forecast demand, manage vendor relationships, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining strict quality standards. In this fast-paced environment, you'll leverage data analytics to identify inefficiencies and improve supply chain resilience, contributing directly to our production goals and customer satisfaction.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage end-to-end purchasing activities including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract administration
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock turnover to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Implement procurement policies aligned with budgetary constraints and quality requirements
- Track KPIs and prepare regular reports on purchasing performance
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain operations
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with proven cost-saving achievements
- Proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software
- Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail
- Knowledge of inventory control principles and lean manufacturing practices
- Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
