Marina Bay Sands is a world-renowned integrated resort, and maintaining the highest standards of security is paramount to our operations. We are seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Surveillance Technician to join our Engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the integrity of our safety infrastructure, ranging from high-definition CCTV systems to sophisticated access control mechanisms. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security hardware, ensuring that our guests and assets remain protected at all times.
As part of a dynamic engineering department, you will collaborate closely with the Security Operations Center and IT teams to resolve technical issues swiftly. This position offers the opportunity to work on state-of-the-art security technology in a prestigious environment, requiring a keen eye for detail and a commitment to operational excellence.
Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of all surveillance equipment, including cameras, recorders, and monitors, to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in CCTV hardware, cabling, and network infrastructure with minimal downtime.
- Assist in the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new security systems and upgrades.
- Monitor system logs and alert reports to identify potential security breaches or technical anomalies.
- Document all maintenance activities, repair records, and system configurations accurately in the CMMS.
- Collaborate with security management to provide technical support during special events and daily operations.
- Perform routine checks on access control panels and card readers to maintain facility security.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Certificate in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in CCTV installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of IP-based surveillance systems, video analytics, and networking (TCP/IP).
- Ability to read electrical schematics and technical blueprints.
- Valid Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident (PR) status is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
