Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and plate sushi rolls, nigiri, and sashimi to perfection, adhering to presentation standards.
- Ensure the highest quality of ingredients, specifically checking freshness of fish and produce daily.
- Maintain a pristine and hygienic work station, following all HACCP and food safety regulations.
- Manage the sushi station inventory, including rice, nori, and condiments, and place orders as needed.
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on proper sushi preparation techniques and kitchen etiquette.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service during peak dining hours.
- Assist in menu development and suggest new sushi creations to enhance our offerings.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience as a Sushi Chef or Sushi Cook.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese culinary techniques, fish identification, and cutting methods.
- Culinary certification or diploma in Japanese cuisine is highly preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and artistic plating skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities within a diverse kitchen team.
