Green Lagoon Technology is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Engineer / Executive (Environmental Attributes) to join our dynamic team in Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will support our core mission by managing our carbon credits portfolio, overseeing Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), and ensuring rigorous ESG reporting standards are met.

Tanggung Jawab
- Manage and track carbon credit portfolios to ensure optimal value, compliance, and verification standards.
- Oversee the procurement, trading, and lifecycle management of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs).
- Prepare and analyze comprehensive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reports for internal stakeholders and external investors.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate sustainability metrics into the development of renewable energy projects.
- Monitor regulatory changes, market trends, and industry standards regarding environmental attributes and carbon markets.
- Develop strategies to maximize the environmental impact and carbon sequestration of our technology solutions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and consultants to ensure accurate carbon accounting.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Sustainability Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in carbon accounting, ESG reporting, or environmental consultancy (2+ years preferred).
- Familiarity with carbon markets, RECs, carbon footprint methodologies, and global sustainability frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems) and sustainability reporting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong attention to detail.
