As a Sustaining Project Engineer, Operations you will be a key driver of continuous improvement and operational excellence at our Tuas manufacturing hub. Working closely with production, quality, and R&D teams, you will lead sustainment projects that enhance process safety, efficiency, and compliance across our stateâofâtheâart facilities.
In this role, you will translate complex engineering challenges into actionable plans, manage project lifecycles from concept to validation, and ensure that all modifications align with regulatory standards. Your work will directly impact product quality, delivery performance, and cost structure, making a tangible difference for customers and patients worldwide.
Tanggung Jawab
- Lead sustainment engineering projects from scoping through implementation, ensuring onâtime and onâbudget delivery.
- Collaborate with crossâfunctional teams (production, quality, supply chain, R&D) to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Develop, update, and maintain project documentation, including risk assessments, FMEAs, and validation protocols.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, SixâSigma, and rootâcause analysis methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, and BD quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular status reports to senior leadership.
- Support troubleshooting and corrective actions for equipment or process failures.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of safety and innovation.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in engineering project management or sustaining engineering in a regulated industry.
- Proven track record applying Lean, SixâSigma, or similar continuousâimprovement tools.
- Strong analytical, problemâsolving, and decisionâmaking skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management tools (MS Project, Jira).
- Ability to work onâsite in Tuas, West Region, Singapore.
- Knowledge of FDA, ISO 13485, and medical device regulatory requirements is a plus.
