Vishay is a global leader in the manufacturing of discrete semiconductors and passive electronic components. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and proactive System Analyst/Programmer to join our IT team in Taguig City. In this role, you will be the backbone of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES), ensuring seamless operational continuity and driving continuous improvement through custom programming and system enhancements.
As a System Analyst/Programmer, you will bridge the gap between technical requirements and manufacturing efficiency. You will troubleshoot complex system issues, translate user requirements into technical solutions, and optimize our MES environment to support high-volume production. This is a fantastic opportunity for a developer who enjoys working close to the factory floor and sees the direct impact of their code on global manufacturing operations.
Tanggung Jawab
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure 24/7 production availability.
- Translate user requirements into functional system specifications and technical design documents.
- Design, develop, and implement custom enhancements to the MES platform to support evolving manufacturing processes.
- Perform root cause analysis on system bugs and implement permanent fixes in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and IT operations, to ensure system integration.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for system configurations, custom code, and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for all patches, upgrades, and new feature deployments.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in system analysis and software development, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven expertise in SQL and database management (Oracle or SQL Server preferred).
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, .NET, Java, or Python.
- Prior experience working with MES software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Camstar, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
