Tanggung Jawab
- Administer and maintain a large-scale HPC Linux cluster, ensuring maximum uptime and optimal performance.
- Perform system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions for complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools (e.g., Ansible, Bash, Python) for system provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Manage and support shared storage systems (e.g., Lustre, NFS, GPFS) and high-performance interconnects (e.g., InfiniBand).
- Implement and enforce system security policies, manage user accounts, and ensure compliance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with research teams to understand their computational requirements and optimize system configuration accordingly.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides to ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical production systems.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Linux system administration (Red Hat / CentOS / Ubuntu).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and tool development.
- Experience with HPC schedulers (e.g., SLURM, PBS, LSF) and job management is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing) and experience with InfiniBand is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, or Chef) and version control (Git).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
